Dr. Salena Akter currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Law and Human Rights at R.P. Shaha University in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. She obtained her LL. B (Honours), LL.M, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Dhaka. Before joining RPSU, she worked as an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Law at Stamford University Bangladesh and also served as the Proctor of the same University. Additionally, she has been practicing as a lawyer (Advocate) at Bangladesh Supreme Court. Dr. Salena has authored four academic books, and her academic journals have received recognition both nationally and globally. Her academic interests focus mainly on Muslim Law and Hindu Law.
